It all started when…

In early 2020 the entire country ground to a halt and Podbox, like many other businesses, found themselves switching to emergency measures to cope with the worldwide pandemic. Podbox moved operations across to PPE production, fabricating 1000’s of frames for safety masks to be used by front line workers. Once the PPE needs had been met, Podbox was able to take a step back. It was no longer business as normal with most of of Podbox’s regular clients in enforced lock down. However this offered time for Podbox to reflect and create this statement product which represents a snapshot of our busy and creative workshop.

A new product…

The Podbox 2020 side table showcases the style, history and quality our workshop puts into every project. The bold design of interlocking and contrasting materials fuse together to create a striking piece of furniture that would perfectly compliment your home or office. Each individual material has a story, a history, a journey from design sketch to the finely crafted final product. Nothing represents this journey more than the unique and detailed texture of the table top.

Each table top is unique. Cut from the sacrificial support sheet of our CNC machine. Every groove is the silhouette of a past project, memories interlaced to create a stunning pattern of time.
