Exhibitions & museum display
Exhibition builds, display cases, plinths and object mounts for museums, galleries and exhibition designers. We’ve built a run of exhibitions with Lateral North for the Wardlaw Museum in St Andrews, Inverness Museum and Balmoral, from the cases right down to the mounts that hold fragile objects. Everything is built and test-fitted in the workshop before it leaves.
Fabrication
Bespoke builds in plywood and sheet timber for architects, designers and private clients: interior fit-outs, acoustic panelling, retail and display stands, public-space structures and furniture. We plan the build around your programme, make it in the workshop and deliver it. Installation is available on request.
Production CNC manufacturing
Got a product in timber that needs made? We work with brands, makers and designers to turn a design into accurately cut, repeatable parts, from a first prototype through to production batches. We can help refine your files for manufacture, nest parts to cut waste, and handle finishing and packing. Production runs include 1,500 Glasgow elm quaichs for the 2014 Commonwealth Games and around 200 presentation cases for House of Hazelwood.
Laser cutting & engraving
Precision cutting and engraving in timber, acrylic, card, leather and fabric. Ideal for branding and marking on production pieces, architectural model parts and short runs. We focus on production and larger fabrication projects, but smaller one-off jobs are welcome where workshop time allows. Get in touch and we’ll let you know.
